OPEN wanted to find out how young people felt about the cost of living and poverty in Shetland. Due to the scale of the issue the research focused on equity and inclusion to understand causes and impacts of inequity for young people, and whether they believe things could be improved or if they feel things are good enough.
Making Shetland Fairer wanted to identify benefits and barriers and we hope the findings in this report will influence decision-makers and create positive change for young people.
