Please support young people to have their say about vaccines

YouthLink Scotland, has been funded by Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland to explore why some young people have missed some vaccinations/ vaccination appointments. We know fewer young people are having vaccines and inequalities are widening between some population groups.

We want to hear from young people aged 11-18 years across Scotland to help us understand how young people make decisions about having a vaccine and what improvements could be made to vaccination information and services. It will take less than 10 minutes to complete the survey. Young people will receive 150 Young Scot Reward points for completing the survey.

Different vaccines are offered throughout our lives. This survey focuses on vaccines for young people that are given around the ages of 11-14 years old. These vaccines are offered to all young people in secondary school. Young people who are home-educated or not attending mainstream education are also eligible and can get the vaccines from their local NHS immunisation team. Find more info here.

The results of this study will help inform decisions about what improvements could be made to vaccination information and services.

Please support young people to complete the survey here by Friday 20th February

If you have any questions about this research please contact Dr Amy Calder from YouthLink Scotland acalder@youthlink.scot
